Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Austin, TX is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee Aircraft Fuelers and coordinate fueling operations. You will issue instructions, ensure adherence to safety procedures, and manage daily activities in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior aircraft fueling experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work flexible shifts. The role requires an 18+ candidate with a valid US driver’s license and the ability to pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Prior Aircraft Fueling experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions and variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Aircraft Fueling Operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Direct and coordinate all fueling/defueling activities and allocate resources accordingly.
• Prepare and submit shift reports, staffing updates and equipment status reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting and fuel transactions and monitor compliance with safety policies.
• Mentor subordinates and enforce disciplinary procedures when needed.
