Job summary

Jet Aviation Teterboro is seeking a Fuel Farm Supervisor to lead a 24/7 aviation-fuel operation, ensuring safe storage, testing, inventory and distribution. You’ll oversee Fuel Farm Leads and Technicians, coordinate with managers, and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

The role demands strong leadership, hands-on supervision, and excellent communication skills, with a focus on safety, quality control, and timely responses during peak operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training in aviation, petroleum operations, maintenance, logistics, safety or related field preferred.
• Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in aviation fueling, Fuel Farm operations, petroleum storage and distribution, fuel-quality control, or related safety-sensitive operation.
• One or more years of lead, supervisory, training, or work-coordination experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision for Fuel Farm Leads and Technicians to support a 24-hour aviation operation.
• Assign shift responsibilities, monitor workload, verify task completion, and ensure handoffs of inventory and safety concerns.
• Support scheduling, attendance management, timecard review, onboarding, coaching, and training in coordination with management and HR.
• Ensure safe receipt, storage, testing, transfer, inventory control and distribution of aviation fuel per procedures and regulations.
• Review fuel-delivery documentation, sampling, test results, readings, and quality-control records.
