Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a government customer at Wright-Patterson AFB, Greene County, Ohio. The role involves recording vital signs, performing screen exams, radiographic procedures, audiometric testing, and data entry in PEPP/AIMWTS, while ensuring compliance with USAF medical standards.

Responsibilities include pre-screening medical documents, filing, ordering supplies, and assisting with dental X-ray duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience working as a medical technician.
• Basic computer skills and be able to work with internal computer programs.

Responsabilités

• Inputs all personal data and information required to identify and complete each physical examination.
• Perform and record vital signs, height, weight, and anthropometric measurements; order and record laboratory tests.
• Enter and use the computer systems designed for these procedures; order and record radiographic examinations as necessary.
• Perform and record all paraprofessional screening examinations required for flying duty per PEM, MSD and DAFMAN 48-123.
• Perform audiometric testing and data entry; record results of 12-lead ECG.
• Identify and apply medical standards on all physical exams per MSD, DAFMAN 48-123 and USAF Aeromedical Waiver Guide.
• Perform data entries in PEPP and AIMWTS; update demographics in the MFS Web Interface.
• Pre-screening review of medical documents for disqualifying conditions and determine referral needs or cancellation.
• Ensure accurate patient demographic entry to FAA MedXpress Website.
• Attend training for dental x-ray proficiency and perform dental x-rays when needed.
• Monitor and restock medical supplies in exam rooms.
