Job summary

Utah Valley University is seeking a Flight Line Technician to support on-site flight operations. You will direct aircraft movement, fuel operations, and ramp coordination while ensuring safety and strong customer service for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include guiding aircraft, operating ground service equipment, monitoring fuel, maintaining hangars and ramp areas, and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience or combination of education/experience totaling 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Direct aircraft movement, guiding, towing, parking and greeting arriving/departing aircraft on UVU ramp.
• Operate ground service equipment (tugs, fuel trucks, transport vehicles) and use appropriate aviation hand signals.
• Monitor fuel levels and inventories; ensure safe fueling practices and report aircraft damage.
• Maintain hangar and ramp areas; de-ice aircraft and keep walkways clear in bad weather.
• Provide customer service to staff, students, pilots and visitors and support flight operations.
