Utah Valley University invites applications for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at the UVU Provo Airport Campus. You will perform inspections, testing, adjustments, and repairs on a range of aircraft systems in accordance with manufacturer standards and FAA Part 145 Repair Station procedures.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college, university, or recognized trade school.
• Two years of related aircraft maintenance apprenticeship experience.
• A valid Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems and components using proper hand tools.
• Prepare records, discrepancies, and corrective action statements, service bulletins and AD compliance, final inspection, and closing of discrepancies.
• End-of-shift cleanup of hazardous materials and participation in training sessions.
