Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a Flight Instructor to deliver ground and simulator training in alignment with aviation regulations and company principles. You will develop materials, track trainee progress and ensure proper records for each client.

Qualifications include an unrestricted ATP or ICAO license, PIC type ratings, and preferred FAR Part 135/121 or military experience. Candidates must meet regulatory instructor standards and cooperate within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted ATP certificate or ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License.
• If no ATP, must meet 14 CFR part 61.153 and 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation.
• At least one unrestricted PIC type rating.
• Preferred: FAR Part 135 or FAR Part 121 experience or military training.
• Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients receiving core, specialty or enrichment training courses.
• Develop and prepare training materials that support training delivery to meet the client needs in accordance with the applicable curriculum.
• Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for qualification, or additional training.
• Complete accurate training records specific to each client, aiding their success in achieving the requested objective(s).
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
• Maintain Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
