Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) seeks a skilled aircrew flight equipment technician to support the AV-8B program at MCAS Cherry Point. The role focuses on inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and testing of aircrew gear to ensure flight readiness and compliance with OEM and government standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant experience, the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and strong knowledge of maintenance manuals, safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience maintaining aircrew flight equipment.
• Three years supporting flight line operations.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (Tier 1 NACI).
• Knowledge of technical publications and maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with egress systems and safety procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, repair, and modification of aircrew flight equipment.
• Ensure proper fitting of aircrew gear and assist donning.
• Document inspections and maintenance in logs and data systems.
• Conduct operational checks on survival radios and beacons.
• Certify equipment safe for flight and maintain records.
• Provide technical guidance to other personnel.
• Follow safety, quality assurance, and environmental procedures.
