Onward Search is seeking a Welder/Fitter for an on-site, full-time position in Honey Brook, PA. The ideal candidate has strong welding and fitting skills, reads blueprints, and can fabricate components to specifications.

Candidate should have formal welding training or equivalent experience and be able to interpret weld symbols. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working in an industrial environment with safety and quality as priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of multi-process welding experience (MIG/GMAW, SMAW, SAW, GTAW).
• Ability to weld ASME code pressure vessels and fit components from blueprints.
• Formal training in welding technology or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to read drawings and weld symbols accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up various alloys for welding and fabrication based on project specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions to accurately fit components.
• Operate and adjust welding equipment and plasma cutters in accordance with procedures.
• Perform basic non-destructive testing (NDE) techniques such as liquid penetrant and visual inspection.
• Maintain safe shop practices, utilize shop tools effectively, and ensure quality standards are met.
