Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a field service technician to travel to customer sites to install, upgrade, or maintain flight simulation equipment. You will deliver operator and maintenance training and provide level 2 technical assistance.

Responsibilities include reviewing facility drawings, coordinating equipment needs, reading electrical schematics, using test equipment, and completing ATPs and trip reports. A strong service mindset and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical training in electronics.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installations, upgrades, or maintenance.
• Review customer facility drawings prior to trip and coordinate equipment needs.
• Read electronic schematics and assembly drawings; interpret engineering diagrams.
• Use electronic test equipment to verify voltages and troubleshoot systems.
• Install or update software and perform ATPs; complete ATP certificates.
• Provide technical training to customer personnel.
• Complete accurate trip reports and provide feedback to engineering.
