Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is looking for a full-time Aviation Field Service Engineer 2 to work at their Salem, OR office or U.S. headquarters. You will leverage your extensive avionics knowledge to support customers and distributors, mentor new associates, and troubleshoot installations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in avionics, effective communication skills, and a customer-oriented attitude. The position also offers benefits and requires the ability to travel for on-site support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in avionics installation and troubleshooting.
• Minimum 2 years as a Garmin Field Service Engineer 1 or equivalent experience.
• Ability to provide customer support and technical knowledge of avionics.

Responsibilities

• Mentor new and less-experienced department associates.
• Provide on-site support of avionics installations and troubleshooting.
• Act as liaison between customers and Garmin's technical team.
