Role Description The Aviation Field Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, Co. This position is responsible for performing diagnostic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on a variety of aircraft systems and avionics equipment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive maintenance inspections, responding to AOG and field service calls, and providing technical support to ensure aircraft safety and operational readiness. The role also involves documenting work performed, maintaining accurate service records, coordinating with internal teams and vendors as needed, and communicating clearly with customers to explain findings, timelines, and service options. The Aviation Field Service Engineer is expected to uphold company standards for quality, safety, and professional accountability while supporting a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong field service capabilities, including on-site aircraft and avionics maintenance and repair.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support for complex aviation systems and equipment.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and inspections in accordance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and build trust with clients.
  • Relevant aviation maintenance or avionics certification (e.g., FAA A&P license or equivalent) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control practices in aviation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.
  • Comfort working in hangar and ramp environments, including occasional extended or irregular hours to support AOG events.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to professional accountability.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites as required.
