Job summary

Avflight Grand Forks is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the FBO, including customer relations, line operations, accounting, health, safety and environmental functions, and coordination of fuel, hangar and office rentals. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring a positive team environment that serves both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in Aviation or related study is required.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of business management and accounting.
• Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Correspond with customers regarding tenant relations and transient sales.
• Interact with customers to promote the FBO and measure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in base forecasting and budgeting under guidance of Director.
• Ensure base performance aligns with budget and audit requirements.
• Promote safety through training, safety meetings, and documented procedures.
• Establish a culture that promotes customer loyalty and employee engagement.
• Manage staffing levels to match volumes and oversee safety, security, and operations.
• Lead investigations of incidents to determine root causes.
• Administer training programs and conduct annual reviews and hiring decisions.
