Job summary

The Blackhawk Group is seeking a Facilities Support Technician to maintain ground equipment and facility infrastructure at the Wasilla, AK hangar. You will support logistics, equipment readiness, and parts distribution while assisting the Parts Room Manager with inventory control.

The role requires mechanical aptitude and experience with aviation maintenance environments, operating tools and equipment safely, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Maintain, inspect, and service ground support equipment (aircraft jacks, tug, forklift, Genie manlifts, skid steer).
• Perform snow removal and seasonal property maintenance.
• Use power tools and welding equipment safely for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver from vendors and run errands to support maintenance operations.
• Assist in receiving and staging outgoing large freight items.
• Replenish shop floor consumables and organize storage areas.
• Operate forklift and other equipment safely.
