Job summary

Landrum & Brown is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant to lead our Aviation Environmental practice, serving as a strategic and operational leader focused on NEPA programs for major U.S. airports.

You will guide complex environmental due diligence, mentor teams, and act as a national authority while engaging with airline and airport sponsors, FAA partners, and federal stakeholders. This role blends leadership with hands-on technical authority.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of environmental consulting experience with aviation focus.
• Leadership of complex NEPA documents (EIS, EA, CatEx) for major airports.
• Experience coordinating with FAA Airport District Offices and regional environmental staff.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational leadership across aviation environmental projects.
• Oversight of EIS, EA, CatEx and other NEPA documentation.
• Mentor mid-level staff and build bench strength in NEPA delivery.
• Support business development, capture strategy, and client relationships.
