Job summary

Harris Miller Miller & Hanson Inc. (HMMH) is seeking a Managing Consultant for its Aviation Environmental & Sustainability group. The role can be remote or hybrid, focusing on NEPA/CEQA and related environmental processes.

You will lead and mentor teams, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and develop client relationships across aviation and infrastructure projects. You will write NEPA/CEQA chapters, oversee subconsultants, support business development, and represent the firm at conferences

Qualifications

• BA/BS in environmental science, engineering, atmospheric science, physics, planning, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage moderately complex environmental projects from initiation through closeout.
• Provide technical direction and oversight based on project requirements, through direct execution or management of staff and subconsultants.
• Write NEPA document chapters including alternatives, purpose and need, affected environment, and environmental consequences.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, contracts, and financial performance.
• Manage subconsultants and other project partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients and participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Support proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, and business development strategies for small to medium projects.
• Represent HMMH at industry conferences, professional organizations, and technical committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
