Job summary

Landrum & Brown seeks a Senior Managing Consultant to lead our Aviation Environmental practice as a national center of excellence. You will guide NEPA work, mentor teams, and influence executive decision-making across major U.S. airports.

You will balance technical authority with client advisory and market leadership, shaping environmental strategy for sponsors and federal stakeholders while maintaining hands-on involvement in complex analyses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience with aviation focus.
• Leadership of complex NEPA documents (EIS, EA, CatEx) for major airports.
• Direct experience with FAA Airport District Offices and regional staff.
• Strong risk mitigation for large capital programs.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Track record of budget accountability, utilization management, and performance leadership.
• Advanced degree in environmental science, planning, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across aviation environmental projects.
• Oversee and advise on NEPA deliverables and regulatory compliance for airport programs.
• Advise clients and lead business development within the aviation environmental practice.
