Job summary

As an intern you will support the engineering and maintenance teams by organizing technical documents, analyzing change requests, and assisting with meetings and vendor events. Candidates pursuing a B.A./B.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering Technology (AET) or related.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business group.
• Strong analytical skill.
• Pursuing Airframe and Powerplant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Create, adjust, and organize technical documents to assist a respective mentor.
• Consolidate and streamline information regarding engineering documents to assist maintenance crew on the floor.
• Gather and condense information through company databases to deliver to the engineering/maintenance department.
• Analyze aircraft change requests for economic viability and fleet convenience.
• Brainstorm ways to improve operations within the engineering department, improve operations between other departments and increase efficiency between Headquarters and crews at Republic Airways bases.
• Create, update, or review engineering documents as assigned.
• Attend meetings and vendor functions.
• Assist in duties, projects, and presentations as assigned.
