Job summary

StandardAero is seeking motivated engineering interns to join our Dallas team for a 10–12 week program, potentially longer, during Summer, Fall, or Winter 2026. You will work with production engineering on MRO operations, engaging in repair industrialization, tooling and fixture design, and process improvements.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers at the DFW Engine Repair Center, developing repairs per technical data, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet project timelines

Qualifications

• Completed engineering courses at the Sophomore level.
• Knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, Project, and Word.
• Proficiency in CAD/drafting tools such as Inventor, Fusion 360, Autodesk products, or SolidWorks.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement repairs for engine components in accordance with approved technical data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete initiatives on time.
• Coordinate process improvement initiatives using lean methodologies.
• Support creation and modification of routings for repairs with configuration control specialists.
• Review OEM documents to understand requirements and procure or develop equipment for repair capability.
• Create new engineering data and instructions for processes as required.
• Observe safety requirements and report unsafe practices or conditions.
• Carry out special projects as assigned.
