Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our team in Coeur d'Alene, ID for the summer.

You will support engineering assignments across planning, design, and construction of airport infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience and developing technical skills. This internship offers exposure to real-world engineering work, collaboration with project teams, and opportunities to learn FAA standards and transportation engineering concepts while contributing to ongoing

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with a team and independently under supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing plan details, outlines, and design components for airport infrastructure projects
• Support preparation of technical specifications for project documentation
• Assist with researching design options and presenting findings to project engineers
• Review design drawings and contribute to quality control
• Prepare sections of technical memoranda and assist with project reports
• Perform material quantity take-offs and obtain budgetary quotes for cost estimating
• Assist in developing construction cost estimates for aviation projects
• Support project managers by monitoring workload and documenting changes
• Perform field tests, measurements, and data collection for aviation design and construction
• Assist with construction inspection and on-site representation during active seasons
• Prepare daily field reports and contribute to construction oversight tasks
• Assist with project-related communication and coordination with clients
• Provide miscellaneous project support to meet deadlines and client expectations
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams across aviation assignments
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed
