Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our team in Coeur D'Alene, ID for the summer. You will support airport infrastructure design, documentation, and field data collection under supervision. This role provides exposure to Civil 3D or AutoCAD tools and interactions with project engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing plan details, outlines, and design components for airport infrastructure.
• Support preparation of technical specifications and project documentation.
• Assist with researching design options and presenting findings to managers.
• Review drawings and contribute to quality control efforts.
• Prepare sections of technical memoranda and assist with project reports.
• Collect data, perform field tests, and support cost estimation.
• Assist in development of construction cost estimates for aviation projects.
• Help monitor workload and assist with documentation needs.
• Support project communications and client interactions under supervision.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams across aviation tasks.
