Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Burlington, NC, is seeking a Manufacturing team member to assemble, inspect, repair, and test aircraft engines. You will contribute across the assembly floor, ensure quality, and support training of associates.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and an FAA Powerplant license, with 3+ years in aviation manufacturing. You will interpret drawings, use hand tools, and work with MES/ERP systems while adhering to FAA regulations and safety practices.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; FAA Powerplant license required.
  • 3+ years in aviation manufacturing/maintenance; jet engines a plus.
  • Ability to read drawings and use hand tools with safety focus.
  • Experience with MES/ERP software and FAA regulations.
  • Strong problem solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role Overview:

  • Compile data for nonconforming product decisions and document technical information.
  • Perform visual/quality checks to ensure product traceability.
  • Conduct hands-on engine assembly and repair activities at high skill levels.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED; FAA Certified Powerplant Maintenance License.
  • 3+ years in aviation manufacturing/maintenance; experience with jet engines is a plus.
  • Proficiency in interpreting drawings, using hand tools, analyzing technical issues, and understanding safety practices.
  • Strong computer skills with MES and ERP systems; familiarity with FAA regulations and inspection techniques.
  • Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities, and adaptability to learn new tasks.

  • Physical environment with minimal desk work; frequent manual activities and safety hazards typical of aviation shops.
  • Expect overtime based on project needs; no travel required.
