Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency/Disaster/Crisis Management, Homeland Security, Aviation Management, or related field
• Four (4) years of experience in Emergency/Disaster Management, Aviation, or Training/ Curriculum Development
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• DHS/FEMA NIMS/ICS certificates (IS-100/120/130/200/230/236/700/800; IC-300/400; L-146) within first year of employment

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains Aviation Emergency Management Training Program aligned with regulatory requirements
• Designs and delivers aviation emergency management and AEOC training for internal/external stakeholders
• Coordinates, schedules, and tracks required and elective emergency management training
• Maintains training records, completion tracking, and documentation for audits and reviews
• Plans, coordinates, and executes all-hazards aviation exercises to validate plans and capabilities
• Facilitates exercise briefings, hotwash sessions, and After-Action Reports (AARs)
• Supports development of Improvement Plans and corrective actions
• Represents Aviation Emergency Management in training, exercise, and preparedness forums
