Job summary

Heads Up Technologies is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician in Kirkland, WA to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic products for production. You will work on both digital and analog electronics, interpreting schematics and following engineering specifications on an onsite team.

You will document results, support test setups, and repair components while collaborating with cross-functional peers to ensure high quality and reliability in aerospace-grade systems.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in high-reliability industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical.
• AA degree in Electronic Technology preferred.
• Knowledge of circuit boards, electronics, FPGAs and microcontrollers; plus related software.
• Experience with automated and manual test equipment for complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing using automated equipment and test consoles on new products and returns.
• Conduct manual testing with multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Document findings with detailed test results and root cause investigation notes.
• Perform component-level repairs and build cables as needed.
• Assemble and modify test equipment and racks; interpret drawings and schematics.
