Job summary
Chromalloy in Oldsmar, FL is seeking an Electronic Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability of advanced manufacturing equipment used to process aerospace components.
In this hands-on role you will diagnose electrical and electronic issues, maintain EBPVD coating equipment and high-vacuum systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with operations, engineering and maintenance teams to maximize uptime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years in industrial maintenance, electronics, or manufacturing equipment repair.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electronic and control systems.
- Maintain and support EBPVD coating equipment and high-vacuum systems.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Document maintenance actions and calibration results.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and vendors to resolve issues.
