Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking an Electronic Technician to support safe, reliable plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems. You will work with automated equipment, robotics, servo systems, and plant electrical systems to maximize uptime and improve reliability.

The role involves 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:30p-10:30p) with a $2.00 shift differential. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and vendors to resolve issues and drive

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Vocational or technical training in electrical, electronics, industrial controls, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, electronic, and control systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with electrical test equipment to diagnose circuit and component issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
• Support PLC-based systems and perform I/O diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot robotics, servo systems, PID loops, sensors, relays, instrumentation, and process controls.
• Install, modify, and validate electrical wiring and control components.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment and control systems.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspections, calibrations, and work orders within SAP/CMMS systems.
• Support vacuum furnaces, wastewater systems, industrial networks, and other process equipment.
• Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to maintenance and operations personnel.
• Identify and elevate safety, compliance, and equipment risks.
