Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking an Electrical Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems for baggage handling and jet bridge equipment. The role requires working with electrical voltages and following safety procedures in a high-demand airport environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing motors and control systems, and coordinating with the control room and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Background check and drug screen required.
Experience in an industrial environment or minimum 1 year as maintenance mechanic.
Proven experience as a Welder with relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain safe working practices and excellent customer service at all times.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and electrical equipment including motors and conveyors per diagrams and manuals.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
Communicate status of work and coordinate with stakeholders.
Analyze root causes of electrical failures and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
Interpret schematics and electrical drawings for layout and operation.
