The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) in Fremont, CA is hiring a Director of Education to oversee curriculum integrity, instructor development, and instructional resources. The role ensures compliance with ACCSC, state education authorities, FAA, and other regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include liaising with corporate program directors, auditing curricula, supervising instructor performance, and facilitating trainer programs to uphold educational standards across the campus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• 5+ years of management experience or proven leadership in a relevant role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between the campus and the corporate program directors who manage education.
• Audit all school curricula to ensure instructors use current syllabi and materials.
• Audit and report on instructor performance at least semi-annually.
• Conduct classroom observations and substitute as needed.
• Create, monitor, and update Faculty Personnel Reports for each instructor.
• Facilitate initial instructor training by ACCSC standards and ongoing development.
• Chair Program Coordinator meetings and ensure minutes are kept accurately.
• Assist with Program Advisory Committee meetings and share minutes with stakeholders.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
