Zusammenfassung

Ameriflight, LLC, the nation's largest Part 135 cargo carrier, seeks a Flight Dispatcher in Portland, OR. This on-site role requires coordinating flight schedules, weather considerations, and safety procedures to ensure timely, compliant operations from our Base at Portland International Airport.

You'll work with Flight Crews, Maintenance, and customers to optimize routes, monitor flight progress, and produce clear reports while upholding DOT safety standards and company policies.

Qualifikationen

• Strong aviation background and understanding of aviation weather, flight planning, and FARs.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a High school diploma or GED (Aviation training preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read and interpret safety rules and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to obtain airport badge; background checks and pre-employment screenings required.

Aufgaben

• Provides flight following in accordance with company procedures and FAA regulations.
• Coordinates scheduled and on-demand flights with customers and company.
• Works with Flight and Maintenance Departments to ensure safe/efficient service.
• Interacts with customers to coordinate high-priority work with cut-off times.
• Coordinates with Flight Crew to make go/no-go flight release decisions.
• Writes routine reports and inputs flight data.
