Job summary

STV Incorporated, located in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Project Manager, Design - Aviation to oversee airport terminal improvements onsite at the client location. The role covers design through construction, with emphasis on scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and coordination with regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of preconstruction or design PM experience on large airport projects and hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in preconstruction or design PM within large-scale airport projects.
• Experience managing capital projects/programs of over $10M is preferred.
• Knowledge of airport operations, design, and construction of airport facilities is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, technical oversight and leadership for all phases of aviation projects, including design management and procurement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, FAA, TSA, and other regulatory agencies as appropriate.
• Lead risk management, schedule, cost control, and quality assurance to exceed client expectations.
• Develop work packages, task orders, and input on projects from design through construction.
• Utilize design and construction progress meetings and scheduling tools to drive on-time delivery.
