Job summary

STV is seeking a Project Manager, Design - Aviation to join our national aviation team to oversee and direct airport terminal improvements. This onsite role is based at our client location in Los Angeles, CA, and requires substantial aviation design experience within an active airport terminal environment.

Responsibilities include leadership for all phases of aviation projects, design management, scheduling, cost and change control, and coordination with FAA, TSA, and other authorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in preconstruction or design project management within large-scale airport projects.
• Experience in successful management of capital projects/programs over $10M.
• Knowledge of airport operations, design, and construction of airport facilities is required.
• Experience overseeing multiple construction activities concurrently on complex capital infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, technical oversight and leadership for all phases of aviation projects, specifically design for capital improvements.
• Coordinate with discipline managers and contractors to address program challenges, risk, schedule and budget performance.
• Lead teams to ensure deliverables meet client expectations with high quality.
• Assist in development and implementation of work packages and Task Orders.
• May provide direction from design through construction and ensure CEQA/NEPA and entitlement requirements are met.
