Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Civil Engineering student for an Aviation Design Internship in Indianapolis, IN. The position offers real-world project involvement across multiple aviation domains including taxiways, airports, and runways, in a full-time 40-hour weekly schedule.

You will work with the aviation market on planning, design, and construction tasks, supporting task leads on FAA and DOT projects and coordinating with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering, or related degree, with an interest in aviation related infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams across project phases from programming to construction.
• Ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Assist with design tasks, data analyses, and drawings.
• Work on projects for FAA, DOTs, airports, and partner consultants.
