AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Civil Engineering Intern for our Philadelphia, PA office. The role involves supporting design and production of civil engineering plans for airport projects, including runways, taxiways, and related infrastructure.

You will use Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD to prepare construction quantity estimates under mentorship and may perform field observations at project sites. Qualifications include pursuing a B.S.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 0–2 years of internship experience is acceptable for candidates.
• Preferred that 60 hours toward the degree are completed by Summer 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Assist experienced engineers in designing and producing plans and specifications for airport civil projects (runways, taxiways, aprons, related infrastructure).
• Contribute to airfield geometric design, pavement design, airport lighting, and construction administration tasks.
• Use Excel and AutoCAD to prepare estimates of construction quantities and document them under supervision.
• Perform construction field observations and attend project meetings.
