Job summary

Aero Mag, a leading aircraft de-icing company, is looking for an Operations Manager at our Boston International Airport station. You will oversee all operational functions of the de-icing center and serve as a resource for staff in the General Manager's absence.

You will ensure safety, compliance with procedures, and staff performance, with a focus on training and collaboration across shifts and teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years of management experience leading large, diverse teams.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
• Drug screening test and Airport security background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the management of operations related to de-icing, snow removal and maintenance
• Ensure enforcement of the corporate policies (code of conduct, attendance policy, uniform policy, etc.).
• Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees; address complaints; resolve problems; and staff performance evaluations and disciplinary measures (Control Tower employees, Operation Supervisors and Technicians)
• Follow up on training and qualifications for Tower Employees, Operation Supervisors, and Technicians in collaboration with the Head Trainer.
• Ensure that the standards and procedures related to operations, security, environment and maintenance of installations and equipment are adhered to
• Responsible for offering and maintaining a safe work environment, following up on safety policies and standards, managing accidents and incidents, and including on-site investigations as necessary.
• Responsible for weekly or monthly meetings with the General Manager, Operation Supervisors, Airline Management Personnel, H&S committee, etc.
• Collaborates in training-theoretical and applied (initial and recurrent), as required
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by management
