Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC DTW is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily deicing operations at the Detroit location. You will lead staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with the General Manager on audits and operational needs.

The role emphasizes proper aircraft de-icing, adherence to airline and FAA requirements, and proactive communication of safety updates to all personnel. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Airport/Airline operations with safety and regulatory compliance.
• College degree or higher education in a related field.
• Completion of IDS de/anti-icing training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and lead staff to improve safety and performance.
• Assist General Manager with station audits and investigations.
• Provide information for airline deicing reports and FAA inquiries.
• Ensure aircraft are deiced properly and procedures are followed.
• Communicate updates on airline manual changes to staff.
