Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies (IDS and Quantem Aviation Services) seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor at the Detroit deicing location. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and lead staff to deliver high-quality ground services for air carriers.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management, handling airline/FAA inquiries, and supervising staff to maintain efficient, compliant deicing operations in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Airport/Airline operations experience with safety and regulatory compliance.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Completion of IDS classroom and OJT de/anti-icing training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and provide leadership to improve safety, performance, and customer service at the deicing location.
• Assist General Manager/Operations Manager with station audits.
• Provide airline deicing reports and address airline/FAA questions as required.
• Ensure aircraft deicing is performed correctly and airline manuals are followed.
• Communicate updates on airline manuals and coordinate investigations of security issues.
