Job summary

ARCO National Holdings seeks a Project Manager to lead aviation construction programs from inception to completion. You will coordinate estimating, scheduling, budgets, design reviews, and subcontractor buyouts to deliver complex hangars, MRO facilities, and airport infrastructure.

You will partner with owners and design teams, drive value engineering, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance while traveling up to 25% nationwide.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience with aviation, hangars, MRO, airport facilities, industrial, manufacturing, or technically complex projects preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • Based in Boston, MA, St. Louis, MO, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage aviation construction projects from preconstruction through completion; including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution.
  • Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
  • Manage complex aviation construction work including hangars, MRO facilities, FBO’s, cargo facilities, aircraft support buildings, aviation manufacturing facilities, and other airport-related infrastructure.
  • Participate in proposal meetings with owner to review scope of work and provide value engineering ideas.
  • Support aviation pursuits by helping with site reviews, constructibility input, schedules, budgets, scope reviews, and client meetings.
  • Lead subcontractor buyout and ensure scopes are complete, coordinated, and aligned with project schedule and budget.
  • Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule.
  • Travel 25% nationally
