Job summary

The Broward County Aviation Department, which manages FLL and HWO, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead capital improvement projects. You will coordinate design consultants and contractors, prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery of complex airport projects.

Role requires extensive construction management expertise, ability to review bids and contracts, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires 8 years of professional engineering or construction management experience.
• Requires an Associate's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or closely related field.
• Requires Florida driver’s license and ability to obtain SIDA badge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital improvement projects with design consultants and contractors.
• Plan, prioritize work and manage contracts and change orders.
• Review design, constructability and value engineering of project documents.
• Review payment requests and supporting materials for accuracy.
• Coordinate field visits and assist County staff in problem solving and progress reviews.
