Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Tulsa is seeking an Advanced Composites Technician 1 to manufacture composite aircraft parts in a production environment. Under moderate supervision, you will lay-up, cut, bag, autoclave, trim, and repair components according to manufacturing specs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills and at least one year of related composite experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• One year related composite experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Read and interpret 6" scale.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
• Check all work and ensure a defect free assembly prior to inspection.
• Maintain and use logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.).
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and support Lean/5S programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
