Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking an Adv Composite Technician Sr to manufacture composite aircraft parts with strict tolerance, including lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, and trimming. The role requires leadership, accurate reading of blueprints, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position expects five years in composite manufacturing, basic math skills, and a Q-stamp.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five (5) years of related experience in composite manufacturing processes.
• Must be able to use basic mathematical formulas to solve dimensional problems.
• Q-stamp required.

Responsabilidades

• Manufacture a wide variety of composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications with close tolerance work.
• Demonstrate leadership ability and possess good communication skills.
• Plan, organize, execute, and obtain objectives with minimal direction.
• Meet the requirements of the manufacturing competencies at the appropriate level in the Employee Effectiveness Review.
• Read work orders, blueprints, GAC specifications, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
• Use precision measuring devices and tools such as 6" scale, 1" micrometer, 6" dial caliper.
• Check all work and ensure a defect-free assembly prior to inspection.
• Maintain logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI, etc.).
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and comply with safety regulations.
• Adapt to sudden schedule changes and coordinate with other disciplines on projects.
• Support lean activities as required.
• Demonstrate good shop practices and safety standards.
