Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking an Aircraft Composite Technician to perform wet layup and prepreg repairs on aircraft components. This full-time, on-site role offers steady work with a leading MRO, competitive benefits, and opportunities for hands-on growth.

You will use precision measuring tools, lay up materials, and operate curing equipment including autoclaves and hot-bonders. A high school diploma is required and an A&P license is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license is not required but welcome.
• Journeyman: 0-5 years experience; Master: 5+ years.
• Ability to read and follow technical documents; good communication in English.
• Maintain safety and quality in a controlled industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair parts/components by wet layup and prepreg.
• Use close tolerance measuring tools and hand tools.
• Operate autoclave, curing ovens, and bagging materials.
• Maintain and clean shop facilities and tooling.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
