Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Aviation Compliance Manager to lead the company-wide program ensuring adherence to aviation laws and standards. The role spans Kimberley operations and beyond, focusing on maintaining licenses and safety culture.

The successful candidate will develop compliance frameworks, conduct audits, and guide operational teams, leveraging strong regulatory knowledge and integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Aviation Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of aviation regulatory compliance or related safety/quality experience.
• Extensive knowledge of SA and international aviation regulations.
• Experience in conducting audits and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the aviation compliance program.
• Monitor regulatory changes (SACAA, ICAO) and assess impact on operations.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections for regulatory compliance.
• Investigate breaches, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements.
• Act as main point of contact for regulators.
• Maintain comprehensive compliance records and documentation.
• Advise management on risks and strategies.
