Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Client Aviation Manager (CAM) to lead a flight department at KSJC. The CAM will supervise personnel, coordinate training, and ensure compliance with Solairus and FAA standards while maintaining high service and safety levels.

The role requires extensive flight operations experience, strategic scheduling, and strong leadership to uphold the company’s culture of service, safety, and integrity in a dynamic client environment.

Qualifications

• Management background with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Experience in training for flight operations personnel.
• Budget development and management experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills.
• NBAA CAM certification or equivalent leadership training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel in accordance with Solairus, FAA and other regulations.
• Coordinate crew and maintenance training with the appropriate contractor.
• Schedule and review flights and training not initiated by client systems.
• Develop scheduling procedures with clients for reliable aircraft utilization.
• Approve PTO and update flight coordinators on changes affecting schedules.
• Meet with personnel to coordinate activities and pass information.
• Submit reports and revise manuals as required.
• Maintain training currency and monthly flight time records for crew.
