Job summary

Garver invites you to join its Aviation Civil Engineering Internship in Denver, CO. The program begins with approximately 12 months of onsite training at the Aviation Design Center in Fayetteville, AR, before a permanent assignment in Denver, CO.

You will work with seasoned aviation design professionals, gaining experience in pavement design, maintenance, lighting, and construction oversight for both general aviation and commercial airports.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Interest in pursuing civil engineering in the aviation industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside aviation design professionals and be mentored.
• Receive training in airfield pavement design, maintenance, airport lighting, and construction oversight.
• Visit Garver's aviation project sites and gain industry exposure.
• Assist with project administration, proposals, and grant applications.
