Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Civil Engineer to join our Aviation Team in Philadelphia, PA. This entry-level role offers mentorship and exposure to airport infrastructure projects including runways and taxiways.

You will use Excel, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D under guidance, contribute to pavement design, airfield geometry, and construction administration, and attend field observations and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited college/university.
• 0-2 years of related technical field experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and production of engineering plans for airport projects including runways, taxiways, aprons and related infrastructure.
• Contribute to airfield geometric and pavement design, airport lighting and construction administration tasks.
• Prepare estimates of construction quantities using Excel; document material volumes and areas under supervision.
