AtkinsRéalis in Tampa, FL is seeking an Aviation Civil Engineering Intern to support the design and production of airport civil engineering projects under mentorship.

You will contribute to airfield geometry, pavement design, lighting, and construction administration tasks, with field observations and take-off duties, while pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering and gaining practical experience.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years internship experience preferred.
• Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD or Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and production of airport civil engineering plans.
• Contribute to airfield geometric and pavement design, lighting.
• Perform construction field observations and attend meetings.
• Help with project quantity take-offs.
