Job Description

We seek a motivated Civil Engineer to support aviation clients with responsibilities including design, project management, construction drawing preparation, cost estimating, processing technical specifications, and stakeholder coordination.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Develop contract documents (plans, specifications, quantities/estimates)
• Coordinate and run project meetings
• Maintain and update department standards and quality control
• Analyze topographical and geologic data for project planning
• Perform design computations
• Manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines

Required Skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation
• Detailed construction cost estimating
• Technical specification writing
• Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of FAA Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders
• Familiarity with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria
• Project management skills (schedules, budgets)

Experience and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited program
• Professional Engineer License or equivalent
• 4-8 years’ experience in civil design
• Task management experience

Additional Preferences

• Supervisory experience on project tasks
• Road/Highway design experience
