Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCivil Engineer – Aviation Projects | Full-Time&

We are actively seeking a& motivated Civil Engineer to support the design and management of landside civil engineering projects for aviation clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is ready to grow in both project design and task management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare contract documents including plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates

• Coordinate and lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams

• Analyze topographic data, survey reports, aerial imagery, and other sources to inform design

• Perform civil engineering design computations and support QA/QC processes

• Coordinate and manage subconsultants and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain and contribute to internal organizational and quality standards

Required Skills Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (from an accredited program)

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent

• 4–8 years of experience in civil design and project task management

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer / MicroStation

• Experience in preparing detailed construction cost estimates

• Strong technical specification writing ability

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars, Engineering Briefs, and Orders

• Familiarity with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)

• Experience with road/highway design

• Prior experience in a supervisory role on project tasks

• Working knowledge of project management tools and principles (schedules, budgets, etc.)
