Zusammenfassung

Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority invites a Design Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to lead a broad range of airside and landside civil projects under CCP and COMIP at DCA/IAD. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with FAA, WMATA, NPS, and other partners, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, and strong communication with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Six years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering, with emphasis on managing and coordinating civil engineering projects throughout design and construction.
• Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Expertise in civil engineering principles for airside and landside facilities.
• Familiarity with FAA, DEQ, EPA, OSHA regulations and related standards.
• Ability to work with multiple disciplines to review and coordinate project designs.

Aufgaben

• Lead multidisciplinary CCP and COMIP civil projects at airside and landside.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including engineers, management officials, and others.
• Interface with airlines, consultants, contractors, and government agencies to minimize disruption to operations.
• Develop and review plans, specs, cost estimates, and contract requirements.
• Provide design management support and ensure compliance with MWAA codes and standards.
