Job summary

PrimeFlightAviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Catering Transport Assistant to support transportation operations between the flight kitchen and aircraft.

You will work with Catering Transport Drivers to ensure timely, accurate delivery of catering items and maintain operational efficiency within Sky Café operations. The role requires physical fitness, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and flexibility to work a fast-paced schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for 8+ hours.
• Able to work in varying environments including outdoor airport conditions.
• Able to obtain and maintain required airport security clearances.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screens including TSA requirements.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering, staging, and preparing catering equipment and carts for flights.
• Support loading/unloading of catering products and equipment to/from transport vehicles and aircraft.
• Verify catering items against flight documents for accuracy.
• Assist with positioning of catering equipment per procedures.
• Retrieve inbound carts and return to the flight kitchen.
• Communicate with drivers, team members, and airline personnel to support daily operations.
• Ensure activities meet required timelines in a time-sensitive environment.
• Follow all safety, security, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support cross-functional tasks within catering and warehouse operations as needed.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
