PrimeFlight Aviation Services in Phoenix is seeking a Catering Transport Assistant to support loading, unloading, and moving catering equipment between the flight kitchen and aircraft, working with Catering Transport Drivers to ensure on-time departures and Sky Café efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for 8+ hours.
• Ability to work in varying environments, including outdoor airport conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and security clearances (e.g., badging, RAIC as applicable)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, including TSA and Customs requirements
• Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading/unloading catering equipment for flights.
• Support movement of carts between kitchen and aircraft.
• Verify items against flight documentation.
• Coordinate with drivers and airline personnel to support operations.
• Maintain timelines in a time-sensitive environment.
• Follow safety and PPE requirements.
• Keep work area clean, safe and organized.
• Support cross-functional tasks in catering and warehouse operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Handle equipment in accordance with procedures.
